The meaning behind this series is about women procreating. The fruit represents the womb and by photographing the fruit in its entirety while damaging the fruit by “roughing it up”, symbolizes the destruction that happens to the female body when creating new life. Showing the anguish of the process but also showing the beauty in it by also focusing on the seeds of the fruits that represent new life.
